COME AS A GUEST, LEAVE AS A FRIEND.
Imagine waking up and the first thing you hear is the gentle mooing of cows and the cheerful chirping of birds. You open the window and look out over green meadows and forests stretching as far as the Gesäuse mountains. Welcome to the Feldbauer farm – your home away from home.
The Feldbauer farm, nestled in the most picturesque landscape in Austria, offers you the opportunity to experience authentic country life up close. Here you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in the peace and serenity of country life.
A day at the Feldbauer farm
A typical day at the Feldbauer farm begins with a hearty breakfast. Enjoy fresh milk, handmade bread and pastries, jam made from the fruits of the garden and eggs from the farm’s happy hens.
After breakfast, you can explore the farm. Perhaps you would like to help feed the animals or simply soak up the peaceful atmosphere. There are plenty of opportunities for children to get to know farm life – from feeding the animals to playing in the hay.
Explore the surrounding area
The Feldbauer farm is also the perfect starting point for exploring the surrounding countryside. Whether hiking, cycling or simply going for a walk – the possibilities are endless.
Back to nature
A vacation at the Feldbauer farm is more than just a time-out. It’s a return to nature, a chance to appreciate the simple life and connect with the earth. It’s a place where you can leave the hustle and bustle of modern life behind and enjoy the simple pleasures of country living.

Every guest’s favorite question to the landlord: “What should I see?”
You don’t have to ponder for long, but unfortunately you can’t name all the worthwhile excursion destinations… However, we will briefly introduce 3 of these sights:
Admont Abbey
In the middle of the Enns Valley and directly in front of the Gesäuse mountains stands the Benedictine Admont Abbey: church, cellar, garden, library, museum, Dveri Pax… are just a few keywords!
There’s a lot to tell, but it’s best to see for yourself: Admont Abbey
The Erzberg
The Iron Mountain or The Styrian Bread Loaf, everyone knows it or should know it after a vacation with us. For 1,300 years, its ore-red, stepped face has shaped the region: Haulyfahrt, live blasting, show mine, Erzberg rodeo, adventure days… again, just keywords!
Again, best to look it up yourself: The Erzberg
The waterhole gorge
325 meters up to the most impressive natural phenomenon in our region: the giant karst spring in the waterhole.
When, how much and for how long huge quantities of water gush out of the spring is determined only by nature, people can watch and enjoy: Suspension bridge, waterfalls, stairs, sweat, breathtaking beauty… keywords here! But here too: Visit it yourself at: Waterhole Gorge
